The Casa Bella story

I DROVE AROUND THIS BLOCK ONCE OR TWICE A DAY FOR MONTHS.

Others saw a bare display window. I saw beautiful possibilities: a shop filled with the fabrics of fine bedding, the sleeves of organic cotton nightgowns, dyed indigo dresses that make women with a certain kind of confidence stand out.

At a certain age, you invest in apparel that’s made with care, with you in mind. I’m talking true goose down from Canada. Hand-crafted organic wools. Style that’s classic…but edgy.

This was my vision as I began to curate the clothing, sleepwear and bedding that would fill this store.  

Almost 10 years after opening the doors to Casa Bella Bedding Boutique in Vernon, BC, women drive from across the Okanagan to shop here. They visit us because we carry high-end clothing that knows their body and their style, and that can’t be found anywhere else in the valley. I only ever buy two of the same piece, so women know they’ll be the only one at an event in that dress.

They also come for the friendship. I take great care to get to know my customers, to help them choose pieces they will love season after season.
